Manufacturingmade in USA
Our roll to roll web coating equipment is proudly made in the USA, with the majority of our machine components made by our in-house manufacturing department in Fort Collins, Colorado. This control of quality and lead time allows us to deliver high quality systems to our customers, right on time. We also maintain a network of qualified outside vendors to provide additional capacity and specialized services.
Our manufacturing staff includes manufacturing engineers, machinists, cnc programmers, welders, and precision vacuum assembly technicians.
Our machining capabilities include a range of CNC mills and lathes. We can precisely mill work pieces up to 50″ x 25″ x 25″. We also have in-house lathe capacity up to 16″ x 40″. We’re well equipped and experienced to machine a variety of materials including plastics, aluminum, stainless steel, and ceramics.
We utilize the latest in inverter TIG welding equipment technology for all vacuum seal welds. We also have MIG welding, plasma cutting, brazing, and soldering. We routinely weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. Our welding staff includes some of the most highly skilled vacuum welders in the industry.
Assembly and Test
Every project is kitted, assembled, inspected and documented individually. Skilled technicians construct projects with exacting care and utilize an array of equipment for larger jobs. Fork lift capacity up to 10,000lb, scissor lift access and a clean dedicated assembly area provide us uniquely generous assembly and test capacity.
All subassemblies are checked against the manufacturing assembly drawings and specifications, and tested to meet or exceed those specifications. Vacuum systems undergo helium leak testing to certify seal integrity. Process-specific requirements are also validated prior to system shipment.
